Just 3 weeks ago the 27 people who made up the 2012 Haiti Team landed in Port au Prince, and then boarded our 2 buses for Christ the King in Merotte, Haiti. Upon our return the team had a chance to share our experiences with the Lord of Life church family. It is really difficult to bring home an experience like that and to share it in such a way as to make others somehow get an idea of what it was really like. In the early service one of the things that was shared by a team member really touched my heart. He said, "Outside of my marriage to my wife, and the birth of our two sons, this trip was the most life changing thing I've ever experienced." That's a very powerful quote, and helps each of us to see that God does amazing things in the hearts and lives of His people when we agree to follow Him outside of our comfort zone.
Could it be that God is calling you to step outside your comfort zone in some big or small way? My encouragement to you is to try it. Take a step. God will not abandon you as you walk with Him.
