Leaving On a Jet Plane

The plans are finalized! The bags are packed! We are on the plane and headed first to Atlanta and then on to warm, sunny, beautiful Haiti. We will arrive at 2:30 in Port au Prince. By 3:30 we will be on our buses and making our way to Christ the King where we will have just enough time to greet our hosts, unload all of the supplies, and leave with promises of seeing our friends tomorrow.

Then, off to Wahoo Bay for showers, dinner, and small group time!

Our team of 39 have been planning, raising funds and praying for this time in Haiti. It is finally here!

We want to thank all of our senders at Lord of Life and others. Please be in prayer for us this week that we will see, hear, and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit as He works in the lives of our team and those He puts in our path this week.

These words from Isaiah 40:28-31 keep ringing in my heart, "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Blessings to each of you!
