This blog is a place for Lord of Life members, friends, and family to check out what's happening as we reach beyond our walls to serve the world around us, whether that be right here in our own backyard or halfway around the world.
We'll post real stories of life change along the way so we hope you'll stay tuned in and get inspired to go out and serve the world around you as well.
The LOL prayer group prayed tonight for a great week for the Haiti mission team and our friends at Christ the King, Merotte. We prayed in many ways, including unity for the team, for the children's Bible story time, for the hearts of adults from LOL and Haiti to be transformed, and strategically for God's appointment for the future leadership of Haiti--that he would guide the particular children he has chosen to attend the school to grow up in the Lord and serve as faithful leaders of the country or have an influence on people who will have an influence in the future of the country. We prayed that God's hand would be on the basketball court project in whatever way he desired, and that there would be a story to tell surrounding its construction, and that it would serve as an outreach opportunity for the church to the community.
